Teeth whitening isn’t one of many things I do
It’s what I’ve specialised in for more than 20 years.
I’m Terri. I whiten teeth — that’s it.
Over the years I’ve worked with countless products, gels, machines and whitening systems. I’ve seen what consistently makes a difference, what doesn’t, and how differently one person’s teeth can respond from another’s.
That experience means I can give you honest advice about what’s likely to work best for your teeth — rather than simply selling you a treatment.
Three ways to whiten

I take a shade reading before we start and again when we finish, so you can see exactly what changed rather than relying on photographs or lighting. Most clients see around 10–14 shades of improvement — but teeth are individual, and so are results.

A calm hour that’s entirely yours
You come to my private, home-based Christchurch studio — a dedicated professional treatment space, one-to-one, calm and never rushed.
We talk first. About your teeth, what’s caused the staining, what you’d like to achieve, and what’s realistic for you specifically.
Then you settle in and let me get on with it. Most clients put Netflix on and enjoy the quiet while I check on them throughout their treatment.
Honest advice. Realistic expectations.
There are times I’ll tell you whitening isn’t the right place to start.
If you have untreated decay, gum disease, a cracked tooth or unexplained dental pain, I’ll ask you to have that checked by your dentist first.
And if your teeth are already naturally quite white, I’ll be honest about what you can expect. We can often still improve them — particularly if you’re looking for that brighter, Hollywood-white finish — but the change will naturally be more subtle. You might see around 3–6 shades of improvement rather than the 10–14 shades I typically see in teeth with more staining.
That’s a conversation I’d rather have with you before we start than let you expect a dramatic transformation your starting shade simply doesn’t allow.
If you’re unsure about something involving your teeth, ask me. Sometimes that means explaining your whitening options. Sometimes it’s helping you understand what questions to ask your dentist. And sometimes the best advice I can give you is something I don’t offer at all.
